Delores "Cat" Durden Collins, 62, of Aline died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. The daughter of Darnell "Baby" and Dollie Collins Durden, she was a lifelong resident of Aline and a member of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. She was a Metter High School graduate and retired from Pride Manufacturing Company in Portal after working many years at Argo Mills in Metter. Delores was instrumental in organizing the Aline Christmas parade beginning in 1995. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club of Concerted Services, recently receiving the 2012 Volunteer Award. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda D. Randall and a brother, Wayne "Lumpy" Durden.

Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Eddie Collins of Aline; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Onnie and Jennifer Durden of Friendswood, TX, Coy "Cheeze" and Brenda Durden of Aline; nephews, Dane and Dustin Durden and Cory Darnell Durden; great niece, Emma Belle Durden; step-nieces and nephews, Abbie Gail and Evan Monroe, Timmy and Jamie Monroe.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 PM, at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Terry Lynn and Elder Wayne Fennell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Sonny Youmans, Steven Cody, Tietgen Edenfield, Ben Kennedy, David Akridge and David Mosley.
