Daniel "Danny" Carroll Mcdonald

Daniel “Danny” Carroll McDonald, of Portal, died Sunday evening at his residence.

Danny was born in Claxton and lived in the Evans County area for many years before moving to Portal over ten years ago.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in The Vietnam War. Danny worked in construction for Y Delta and later the Sack Company before retiring a few years ago.

Surviving are Patricia McDonald; his son,  Daniel “Ross” McDonald; his daughter, Candace McDonald (Lyle Thompson); five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
