Daniel Robert Mcdaniel

Daniel Robert McDaniel, 54, of Metter died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Grafton, West Virginia he was a son of Russell Lee McDaniel and Eillie Mae McDaniel.  Mr. McDaniel was a devout Catholic having been a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Metter.  He enjoyed being with his family and keeping to himself.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel Robert McDaniel, Jr. (Braundy Dunn) of Waynesboro, Carl McDaniel (Heather) of Metter; two daughters, Danielle McDaniel Myers of Metter and Melinda McDaniel of Metter; the mother of his children, Terry McDaniel; four brothers, including his twin, Donald McDaniel of Metter, Russell McDaniel of Grafton, West Virginia, Randall “Randy” McDaniel of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and David McDaniel of North Dakota; a sister, Tammy McDaniel of Grafton West Virginia; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel with Father Gordian Iwuji officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.

Interment will be in the McDaniel Family Cemetery.
