Crystal Jewel Rhodes Odom

Crystal Jewel Rhodes Odom, 38, of Metter, died Monday evening, June 29, 2020 at Candler County Hospital in Metter.

Crystal was born in Savannah and traveled and lived all over the world before moving back to Metter several years ago.  She was a pure soul full of bright light and was always a shoulder to lean on.  She was an amazing mother who selflessly dedicated her life to her husband and children.  She loved photography, decorating, and wonderfully expressed herself through art and music.  Above all her love had no limitations and she will always be missed.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Capps.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Odom; her children, Billy Carpenter, Cheyenne Carpenter, Mason Odom, and Tyler Odom; her father and step-mother, George and Brenda Kay Rhodes; her siblings, George, Bobby, Jimmy, Austin, Ashley, Tamara, and Bailey; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held.

Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter is in charge of the arrangements.
