Mary Cynthia “Cindy” Coleman, of Winder, passed away late Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Northside Hospital in Duluth.
Cindy was born on December 9, 1954, and was a daughter of Ranford Coleman and Edna Smith Coleman. She was born in Reidsville and lived in Atlanta for several years before settling in Winder. She was a 1972 graduate of Fulton County High School and was of the Baptist faith. Cindy worked for many years for Prime America as a financial advisor. She loved showing dogs with the American Kennell Club and two of her favorite show dogs were Afghan Hounds. She always drove Ford Mustangs and was known as “Mustang Cindy” to many who knew her. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Smith.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Joe Martin of Fayetteville; her brother, Joey R. Coleman of Atlanta; her longtime companion, Randy Quattlebaum of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sunlight Cemetery.
