Christopher Raymond “Chris” Fulmer, 53, of Twin City died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Chris was born in Swainsboro and lived all his life in the Twin City area. He was a carpenter and worked for WBM Construction in Metter. He was Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his family. Chris loved a good cook out or family gathering and enjoyed playing corn hole. He enjoyed yardwork and was a great landscaper and loved mud bogging. Chris was preceded in death by his father, James Raymond Fulmer.
Surviving are his life partner, Sue Carlson of Twin City; his mother, Ann Hieber of Milledgeville; his children, Debra Pounds (Dwayne Ferrer) of Twin City; Brandon Ducker (Anna) of Swainsboro; Justin Fulmer (Hillary Dixon) of Twin City, Vanessa Allison (Jason) of Amirrillo, Texas; seven grandchildren, R.J., Camron, Caleb, Jase, Asher, Ariana, and Lukus; the mothers of his children, Casandra Renee Smith and Donna Rivas; his brothers and sisters, James Allen Fulmer of Twin City, Linda Fulmer Coleman (Robert) Canoochee, Patty Drake of Milledgeville, Michael Fulmer (Melissa) of Twin City, Kenneth Dale of Twin City, Nancy Rigdon (Mike) of Twin City, Sherry Rich of Swainsboro, and Gina Priest (Robert) of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 o'clock in the evening, Friday, August 13, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
The funeral service will be held 11 o'clock in the morning, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter with Elder Mike Newman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fulmer Family Cemetery.
