Christopher Dale Bird, Sr.

Christopher Dale Bird, Sr., of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Ga.

Christopher was born on January 28, 1966, in Swainsboro and was a son of Charles and Wanda Bird of Twin City.  Christopher was a lifelong resident of Emanuel County and was self employed for the past fifteen years as a small engine mechanic.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was involved with the Metter Church of God Men’s Ministry with his son, Timothy Bird. He was proceeded in death by his wife Tracie Bird.

Surviving are his parents, Charles and Wanda Bird of Twin City; three sons, Timothy Bird and his wife, Samantha, of Cobbtown, Christopher D. Bird Jr of Augusta, Roy Brandon Bird of Swainsboro; his daughter, Samantha Kirby of Swainsboro; a brother, Robert Bird of Sylvania; a sister, Pam Reimsnider and her husband, William, of Swainsboro; and seven grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held at 4 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Living Waters Church of God with Rev. Mike Pillow officiating.
