Christine Nace

Christine Nace, 79, of Cobbtown and widow of R. G. Nace, died early Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Grace Gardens in Metter.

Mrs. Nace was born in Cobbtown and was the daughter of Barney and Vera Dell Sikes.  She lived in both Florida and Pennsylvania for a number of years before returning to Cobbtown several years ago.  Mrs. Nace was a homemaker and a home shopper, having had a loved for shopping off of the QVC channel.  She was a world traveler, however, the place she loved the most was Cobbtown.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son.

Surviving are her brother, Vernon Sikes; a niece, Beth Sikes and her husband, Dwayne; a sister-in-law, June Sikes; and a great niece, Skyler Sikes all of Cobbtown.

The visitation will be held from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Friday morning, June 19, 2020 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

The graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday morning, June 19, 2020 at Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.
