Carlton Fulmer, 85, passed away Saturday June 19, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was the son of James and Gladys Cowart Fulmer. Carlton served in the United States Army as a diesel mechanic. After the military, he was a truck and park manager. He was a “jack of all trade” man who also enjoyed fishing, loved animals and being outside doing yard work. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, GA. In additional to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Fulmer.
Surviving are his wife of forty-one years, Gail H. Fulmer; two sons, Ricky Fulmer, Randy Fulmer (Vivian); a daughter, Connie Dowd; five grandsons, Roy Dowd, Randy Fulmer, Jr. (Amber), Josh Fulmer (Ashley), Matt Fulmer (Erica), Kevin Fulmer (Maggie); twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11 o’clock at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel.
Interment will be at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church.
