Bobbie Collins Kersey, 87, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at her home in Kinston, Alabama. Born in Cobbtown, Georgia, she is the daughter of the late Bob and Etter Henley Collins. She was a homemaker and the best cook in the world who loved her children and grandchildren. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Kersey.

Survivors are three daughters, Bobbie Jean (Sammy) Hunt of Kinston, AL, Annette Brackin of Kinston, AL, and Jeanette Reynolds of Lakeland, FL; a brother, William Collins of Portal; a sister, Thelma Collins of Lyons; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 am, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with Bro. J.D. Folds and Bro. Chad Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Sunlight Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
