‘Bob Bolduc’

Bob was born October 5th, 1930, in Lewiston, Maine of French-Canadian parents. He was a devout Catholic and a committed military man all his life. He was active in several sports in his youth and enjoyed gardening in his later years. He achieved higher education through the military, culminating in a master’s degree in business logistics from the Florida Institute of Technology.

His military career spanned from 1947 until he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel at Ft. McPherson GA in 1980 followed by Civil Service until 1993. During that time, he served twice in Viet Nam and was highly decorated. His career offered opportunity for him and his family to reside throughout the USA and internationally in Germany and Korea.

He married Linda Tucker Porter, June 6, 1987, and together they moved to Metter/Pulaski GA where he was active in the Catholic church, Exulted Ruler for BPOE, President of the Rotary Club, and a member of the Lake Cemetery executive committee for many years.

He is predeceased by his father Alfred Bolduc, mother Angelina Corriveau Bolduc, sisters Rita Bolduc and Reina Cyr Beckwith, brothers Clifford and Roland Bolduc, son Andre Bolduc, wife of 34 years, Joline Fouquette Bolduc who passed in May of 1985 and wife of 37 years, Linda Tucker Bolduc, who passed in May of 2024.

His surviving relatives include brother Maurice (Carla) Bolduc, son Norman (Edie) Bolduc, daughter, Venise Bolduc, daughter-in-law Darlene (Mike) Lindsay, stepson Phil (Elizabeth) Porter, stepdaughter Patricia (Craig) Hood, and, including blended family, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Metter.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o’clock in the evening on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel of Metter.

Interment will follow in Lake Cemetery.
