Beverly Crosby, 55, of Statesboro died Sunday, December 22, 2013, at her home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. Born in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Jack Edmund and Tiny Myrle Mason Kennedy. She moved to Statesboro in 1972 from Atlanta. Beverly loved working with children, flower and vegetable gardening and was a member of the Statesboro Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, Donald L. Crosby; a son, Matthew Crosby of Statesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Chastayne and Nick Fordham of Millen; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Dee Kennedy of Braselton; and two grandchildren, Dallas and Dalton Fordham.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, with Rev. John Daniel Woodcock officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am before the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Mixon, Stephen Mixon, Perry Luthi and Monty Oliver.
