Betty Jane O'Daniel Fulmer

Betty Jane O’Daniel Fulmer of Metter and widow of Kenneth Fulmer, passed away Sunday morning, May 28, 2023, at her residence under the care of hospice and her family.

Betty was born in Cleveland, Tennessee and was a daughter of William A. O’Daniel and Ethel Mae Moorefield.  She was a loving wife and a great mother to her children and great-grandchildren.  Betty loved fishing, gardening, cooking and reading.  She volunteered her time and read to people at the nursing homes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fulmer; three of her children, William (Billy) Fulmer, Vickie Kersey Parker, and Kenneth Fulmer, Jr.; and two sisters, Wilma Fulmer and Virginia Pridgen.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda Sowell Woods (William), Joann Deal (Henderson), Sandra Kay Samples (Blaine) and Wanda Jean Fulmer; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 2 until 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.

Interment will be in Lake Cemetery.
