Barbara Ann Powell

Barbara Ann Powell of Ridgeland, South Carolina, passed Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Barbara Ann was the daughter of Aaron Powell and Nora Wilds Powell.  She was born in Claxton, Georgia and lived most of her life in Ridgeland, South Carolina.  Barbara Ann was a member of Grace Hill Baptist Church and loved her baby dolls.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Wallace Powell and Billy Gene Powell.

Surviving are her mother, Nora V. Wilds Powell of Lobeco, South Carolina; a brother, Robert Dale Powell of Beaufort, South Carolina; a sister, Donna Marie Powell of Cottageville, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, of Cobbtown.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Interment will be held in Lynn Cemetery in Collins, Georgia.
