Mrs. Barbara Ann Sapp Roberts, 68, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in Brunswick. She was the wife of Wendall Roberts.
Born in Hazelhurst to Carroll Lee and Minnie Sapp, she lived most of her life in Brunswick. She retired as an assistant in a medical family practice and enjoyed crocheting and baking. Barbara was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Reno and Randall Sapp and one sister, Doretha Sapp.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Wendall Roberts of Brunswick; a daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Robert Tucker of Atkinson; a brother, Howard Sapp of Nahunta; grandchildren, Kirsten, Cassidy, Madison and Juliann Tucker; and the extended Roberts family.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel with Rev. Ed Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the Old Anderson Cemetery near Collins. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Hunter and Scotty Ganious, Brice Deriso and Jurrell Roberts.
