Antonio Santana, Sr.

Antonio Santana, Sr, of Metter, and husband of Teresa Cabrera Santana, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.

Mr. Santana was born in Silao Guanajuato, Mexico and was a son of Benjamin Santana and Maria De Jesus Juarez.  He moved to the United States twenty-six years ago and made Metter his home.  Mr. Santana was a retired truck driver and throughout the years worked many jobs at which he was a perfectionist.  He was known as a jack of all trades. Out of all the jobs he held throughout his life, the job that was the most dear to his heart was being a provider, father, and family man.  He was loved by his bosses and was well respected for everything he did.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Cabrera Santana of Metter; a son, Antonio Santana, Jr. of Metter; his daughters, San Juana Santana Cabrera of Mexico, Alma Rosa Santana Cabrera of Mexico, Martha Santana Cabrera of Metter, Maria Del Rosario Santana Cabrera of Cobbtown, and Teresa Santana Cabrera of Lyons.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel, of Metter.
