Ann Hensley Daniel

Ann Hensley Daniel, 87, died Friday, February 3, 2017, at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Bulloch County but lived most of her life in Metter. She was the daughter of Jeffrey Thomas and Valerie Ann Dycee Hensley. Ann was a homemaker and spent many years working in the family business, Hensley Tobacco Warehouse.  She was a member of the Metter Primitive Baptist Church, the Trapnell- Dekle Sunday School Class and the Metter Garden Club.  She was not only Nana to her grandchildren , but to all of their friends also.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Blitch Parrish Daniel; a daughter, Valerie Daniel; and three brothers, Bill, James, Don Hensley, and J.T. Hensley.

Survivors are three sons and a daughter-in-law,  Jack Daniel, Malcolm Daniel both of Metter and Dallas and Mary Ellen Daniel of Richmond Hill; eleven grandchildren, Brandy Snell, Zach Daniel, Katie Cartee, Gatlin Daniel, Dallas, Brennan, Wesley and Matthew Daniel, Jack Avery Daniel, Gracie Daniel and Blitch Daniel; five great grandchildren, Hudson and Harrison Snell, Maddox Fenldley, Tate Daniel and Cade Cartee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 am, at the Metter Primitive Baptist Church wilh Elder Mike Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
