. Amy Lynn Sutton Polan, 43, of Metter died Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born in Metter, she had lived most of her life here and attended Metter First Baptist Church in her early years. Amy was a 1988 graduate of Metter High School and a 1989 graduate of Swainsboro Tech. She was a manager and medical biller for College Pharmacy. Amy had a generous big heart for all animals and loved her family greatly. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil and Ruby Iddins and paternal grandfather, Earl Sutton.
Survivors are her parents, Billy Earl and LaRuth Iddins Sutton of Metter; a daughter, Macie Lynn Jukes of Swainsboro; a brother and his wife, Andy and Janice Sutton of Swainsboro; grandmother, Marjorie Sutton of Metter; nephew and niece, Tony and Anna Sutton of Swainsboro; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 pm, at the Metter First Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, 5:30-8:00 pm, at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Adam Sutton, Brooks Wallace, Richard Lee, Deven Bradham, Landon Lanier and Trey Cowart.
